Intervention and Placement Services

An “intervention” is a professionally planned and led process by a highly trained individual involving one of more family members, friends, or coworkers which seeks to get someone to seek and accept professional help for a mental health or substance use disorder, or because of some kind of traumatic event or crisis, or other serious problem. When properly done, the process can lead to the individual receiving the help they may desperately need. Veritas offers such a service.

Placement Services are invaluable services offered to individuals or family members when a teen, young adult, or older adult is in need of some type of residential service such as therapeutic boarding school, wilderness camp, detox, hospitalization, residential treatment, eating disorder specialty  treatment, etc. Our placement specialist has worked in the field for many years and has knowledge of residential services across the United States. This can be a time-saving and cost-saving service, especially in times of crisis.
