Adolescent and Parent Services

One of our specialties is helping the struggling teen and their family members through the multi-issued period of adolescence. We offer a teen group and a parent support group. We offer consultation, individual therapy, parenting sessions, and family therapy.

We value family connection and relationship/communication skills. We find it much more effective to work with the family system than to work with only the parents or only the teen.

Weekly Adolescent Skills/Support Group

For the motivated or conflicted teenager - the focus is on peer support, emotion regulation skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and DBT/CBT skills. This is also a safe place for teens to explore depression or anxiety, conflicts, dilemmas, and trauma. Teens learn relationship skills to enhance connections with siblings, peers, and parents, to come out of isolation into social well-being, etc.
