Carol Cash, LMSW, LCDC

Carol Cash, LMSW, LCDC, is one of the founding members of Veritas Wellness Center, PLLC. She has an extensive 25-year history of working in a variety of settings, treating both mental health issues and substance use disorders. She has primarily worked in day hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Carol has considerable experience with adolescents and their parents, as both a psychotherapist and an Executive Director of leading programs in the greater Houston area.

Carol received her BA from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, CA, and is a graduate of the renowned Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Houston, in clinical social work, and was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is a licensed Master of Social Work and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.

Carol is passionate about helping others discover their own intrinsic worth while developing their compassion for themselves and others. From this place of self-acceptance, healing begins to occur. With her relaxed demeanor and notable sense of humor, she creates safe and strong connections with adult clients, parents and teens which is foundational to healing and progressing in skillfulness and personal growth.

She also enjoys working with family systems to enhance genuine connections between family members. At times, there are obstacles that impede families from experiencing the love that exists between members. Carol views family therapy as a vehicle to create loving bonds once again and more effective functioning.
